Here are some poems that I chose.

In the Event of My Demise

In the event of my Demise
when my heart can beat no more
I Hope I Die For A Principle
or A Belief that I had Lived 4
I will die Before My Time
Because I feel the shadow's Depth
so much I wanted 2 accomplish
before I reached my Death
I have come 2 grips with the possibility
and wiped the last tear from My eyes
I Loved All who were Positive
In the event of my Demise

The Rose That Grew From Concrete

Did you hear about the rose that grew
from a crack in the concrete?
Proving nature's law is wrong it
learned to walk with out having feet.
Funny it seems, but by keeping it's dreams,
it learned to breathe fresh air.
Long live the rose that grew from concrete
when no one else ever cared.

These are two poems by Tupac Shakur

Mommy and Daddy
They argue and argue and are split in two
Are they still in love or are they through
Its an on going nightmare,
Its like they dont care
I sit and watch and I hear what they say
They dont know I do, but I hear it everyday
The sadness and hurt just wont go away
And all we can do is hope and pray
That someday things will be the way they once were
A long time ago when we were all sure
That we'd all love one another till the day we died
But those dreams were lost in the tears we all cried
Then, one day Mommy cried
And through the door I saw Daddy fly
Now I sit and cry and wonder why
Did I cause these fights each and every night?
But Mommy she says no Its not your fault
Every once in a while things come to a halt
When theres no more love between two people
We all must move on and become stronger people
So I sat down that night and thought of old times
And soon I realized,
That this is one of Gods big plans
And all our troubles are in good hands
We may not like it, but deep down we know,
For happiness there must be woe
So hold on tight and keep in mind
That all things will work out in time.
