English Essay Exam

Welcome to your last exam of the 2003-2004 school year!

Reminder - There will be a 10 minute period during which I will allow you to whisper while you conference with a partner.
After that, this is an exam room and you must remain silent.
Raise your hand if you have a question and I will come see you.

On this web page, you will have access to everything you need to complete the exam – the links are at the bottom of this page.

If ever you get lost, go to the bottom of whatever page you are on and click on Go Home! to return to this page.

The essay will be worth 24 marks and the questions will be worth 6 marks, for a total of 30 marks.

Directions:

  1. Read the article.
  2. Answer the questions.
  3. Fill in the essay outline checklist.
  4. Write your final copy.
In order to answer the questions on the computer you will need to copy and paste the questions into Word. You can do the same thing for the checklist if you like. Of course, you can also write your answers out by hand on the paper provided to you.
